Alana Simpson

Laboratory Supervisor, Clinical Training Manager, Research Scientist

Alana Simpson joined Androvia LifeSciences in June of 2015 as a Research Scientist. Currently, Alana serves as one of Androvia’s Laboratory Supervisors and is the Clinical Training Manager, Alana is responsible for overseeing the training of commercial clinics offering the Cap-Score™ Sperm Function Test. Alana is a co-author on both of Androvia’s publications, “Localization patterns of the ganglioside GM1 in human sperm are indicative of male fertility and independent of traditional semen measures” and “Validation of a laboratory developed test of human sperm capacitation” (Molecular Reproduction and Development 2017). She is also a listed author for several scientific abstracts and poster presentations on sperm function presented at various conferences in 2016 including the American Society of Andrology (ASA), the American Urological Association (AUA) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Alana is also responsible for selected commercial processes within Androvia LifeSciences.

In 2012, Alana graduated from Montclair State University and received her BS in Biology.
